The Desert Rose is a natural cluster formed out of gypsum or baryte and sand grains. It is mainly found in sandy deserts. Its beauty lies in its multiple natural petals that reflect the light and grow in different directions, making each desert rose a unique piece. The architecture of Qatar National Museum is fully inspired by the marvelous natural clusters of the Desert Rose.
