The little giraffe dreamed of living in the big glamorous city zoo, instead of the wide plains where she was constantly thirsty and hungry and at the mercy of fierce predators. But her wise mother knew better and warned her of the greatest predator of all: humans. But the giraffe paid no attention to her mother’s words and when the humans came to take her away to the zoo, she surrendered happily. There, she lived in a beautiful garden for years. But she missed her mother and family. It was only then that she realized that though she was comfortable, she was being held inside the cage, trapped, unable to come and go as she pleased. Will little giraffe ever return home to her family and enjoy the freedom once more? Or is it too late?
