Buyer (Gaming)

  • The Buyer is responsible for proposing short-term as well as long-term sourcing strategies for his/her category, making market intelligence and competition analysis, sourcing products, equipment and services, and managing vendors while performing procurement activities related to his/her product category for creating value for money supply base for the organization.

    1. Proposing short-term as well as long-term sourcing strategies for his/her category.
    2. Running the necessary market intelligence and competition analysis to define the best sources with the best price positioning and competitive advantages of the sourced product under his/her category
    3. Ensuring that procedures are complied with by internal stakeholders and suppliers.
    4. Identifying allocated purchasing activities to achieve best value for money by applying the five rights of purchasing and value for money criteria (Quality, Quantity, Price, Place and Time) to any purchase of goods and services.
    5. Developing, maintaining and improving relationships with internal stakeholders to promote effective procurement and supply.
    6. Preparing reports and data on the quality of goods and services supplied and taking actions with suppliers or internal stakeholders to remedy and prevent defects
    7. Monitoring internal and external lead times and taking actions to minimize delays and improve lead time performance.

Sales Associate

  • The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and answering their needs in a timely manner in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and achieve optimum sales results.

    • Greets customers, offers assistance and serves them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards.
    • Provides exceptional customer service by performing up-selling, cross-selling, suggesting alternatives and following up on customers' requests. Maintains awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
    • Ensures smooth and efficient receiving process of items/shipments, as well as accurate stock keeping preventing security risks and thefts by performing physical and electronic inventory as required, reporting broken alarms, incidents, suspicious activities.
    • Merchandize products under the appropriate sections according to sales trends, date of release, and as per the Department Manager recommendations.
    • Replenishes on a continuous basis the shop shelves and ensure that the shop floor and shelves are always kept clean and tidy in alignment with the brand's image and merchandising standards.
    • Maintains high product knowledge and stays up to date with industry news and competitor activities.
    • Informs Department Manager of unavailable and nonperforming products.
