The new Smooth 5 has upgraded high-quality magnetic motors and improved algorithms that make it easy to film at any angle. The 3-axis design provides free movement from all perspectives even at low and super-wide angles. A wider phone clip ensures safer and easier filming with most smartphones and it's easy to switch between portrait and landscape mode. On the back of the gimbal is a new intuitive all-in-one designed control panel. With the new design, it's easy to control all gimbal and smartphone settings and movements with just one hand, even when you're on the go. The phone clip has two magnetic mounts for LED lights that can be attached on both sides and which together have a brightness of 600 lumens (2x300) and a CRI of 95+. The LED lights are fully dimmable via the wheels on the control panel. Just like the recently released Crane M3, there is also the option to attach magnetic filters that come in four colors and can add a cool flash effect to your videos. Together with the ZY Cami app, you can access creative settings such as Gesture Control which starts the recording when you make a special gesture, SmartFollow which follows the subject in picture and the Vortex mode which gives an extra dimension to your videos. In the app you will find several other creative settings and easy ways to edit your photos. The new Smooth 5 can handle a maximum weight of up to 320g and has a battery life of 4 hours with the LEDs mounted and set to maximum brightness, and a full 12 hours in normal use without the LEDs. Charging time is 2 hours.
